The mobile water softening unit WS 100 puts an end to annoying residues on cleaned surfaces. Depending on the region, more or less heavy lime residues remain on cleaned photovoltaic modules due to lime-rich water. This reduces the yield and should be avoided at all costs. For professional use, Kärcher offers two mobile, easily transportable water softening units for installation between water tap and high-pressure cleaner. An ion exchange resin removes the dissolved lime from the water and reduces the degree of hardness to 0-1 °dH. This means that neither streaks nor limescale residues remain after drying. With the optional regeneration system, the exchanger resin can be renewed at the touch of a button. The WS 100 offers a softening capacity of 10,000 l (at 10° dh).
